I would be using Debate.org if people maintained that dying dinosaur of a debate website.
"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? " ~Epicurus
"A communist is like a crocodile" ~Winston Churchill
We're born alone, we live alone, we die alone. Only through our love and friendship can we create the illusion for the moment that we're not alone.~Orson Welles
I would use DI more than DDO even if DDO picked up the pace but I will probably use both for my whole life (yes I intend to be an online debater for my whole life and if my spouse or children use different accounts on same IP I will have to clear that up with admins)
I am genuinely a lover of debating. It's deeper than an addiction it's an actual need. You just can't debate in daily life with the average human being, they're built to actively avoid having debates in how they talk with people and how they deal with situations. I need an outlet for this 'combat-built' mind I have and this is great for it. When I get strong urges to debate I come here, , debate.org or maybe on a weird chat here and there on other platforms with more 'head on' individuals.
I don't understand this 'us vs them' mentality with debate sites. Do you think facebook says 'don't you dare sign up for Google+ or admit you like it'? No. In fact it's so extremely far from that form of competition that there exist these pages:

I would say, gun held to my head, I do believe DI is the best of the three and I simply don't verbally state that on other sites.
The way I see it, dip your toe in the water this isn't some war or job. You are not in a monogamous relationship with your website. Enjoy all of them.
